This Indenture made this fifteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Nine Between Ambrose Bramblet of the State of North Carolina and County of Surry of the one part and Robert Hardwick of the State of Virginia and County of Bedford of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Ambrose Bramlet for and in consideration of the Just and full sum of Five Hundred Pounds Current Money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the said Robert Hardwick the Receipt whereof he the said Ambrose Bramblett doth hereby acknowledge hath given granted Bargained and Sold and by those presents doth give grant Bargain Sell Deliver and Confirm to him the said Robert Hardwick his assigns forever one Certain Tract or Parcel of Land Containing five hundred and thirty five acres Lying and being in the County of Bedford and bounded as followeth Beginning at Robertsons Corner Red Oak thence North Sevety Eight degrees........and eighty two poles to the first station. To have and to hold the above Sold and and Premises with all the appurtances unto him the said Robert Hardwick his Heirs and Assigns forever against him the said Ambrose Bramblett his Heirs and assigns and against the claim and Demands of all other Persons whatsoever he sahll and will by these presents Warrant and forever Defend the same In Witness whereof he the said Ambrose Bramblett doth hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and year first above written.
