Applications for the Guion Miller Roll

William Brownlow Bramlett

William Brownlow Bramlett was a son of Wesley and Mary Howell Bramlett. His application was assigned No. 15331 and that is how he appears on the Index to the Guin Miller Roll (Bramlett, William B). A list of the pages in his application follows, with links to each page:

Application No. 15331 Cover Sheet

Page 1 of the application provides excellent information about William and his parents.

Page 2 of the application lists the siblings of William and his aunts and uncles - from both his father's and his mother's side since he is making a claim through both his paternal and maternal lines.

Final page of the application form.

The next page shows that his claim was rejected. It also shows that he is a first cousin to someone else listed on the Guion Miller Roll. But, it doesn't give the person's name, only his application number. The only index that I have found is alphabetical and I have no simple way of finding out who this person was. There are also the names of several other Bramletts who are listed on the Index.

Margaret Jane (Moore) Bramlett

Margaret was the wife of William Brownlow Bramlett. Her application was assigned No. 17756 and that is how she appears on the Index to the Guin Miller Roll (Bramlett, Margaret J). A list of the pages in her application follows, with links to each page:

Application No. 17756 Cover Sheet

Page 1 of the application provides excellent information about Margaret and her parents.

Page 2 of the application lists the siblings of Margaret and her aunts and uncles.

Final page of the application form. It shows that Margaret could not write as she made her mark.

The next page shows that her claim was rejected.
