Charles Gordon Bramlett

Funeral services were held April 16 at 1:30 p.m. in the Harrell Funeral Chapel for Charles Gordon Bramlett, 73, who died April 15 [1958] at his home in Dublin. Dr. J. M. Bradford officiated.

The deceased, a native of Georgia, was married to Nancy Dot McNaron, Oct 22, 1908 and to this union two children were born.

Survivors are the wife, two sons, Don of Dublin; Dale of Idalou. Six grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Two brothers, Will of Dublin; J. D. of Sinton; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Mullins, El Monte, California and Mrs. Effie Weldner, Los Angeles, California.

Interment was in the Barbee Cemetery [Erath CO, TX].


Obituary of Nancy Dot McNaron Bramlett

Funeral Service Held July 7 For Mrs. N. Bramlett

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Monday, July 7 [1975] at Harrell Memorial Chapel for Mrs. nancy Dot Bramlett, 90, who died July 6 at Golden Age Manor, where she has been a resident for the past four years. The Rev. Bob Perrin, pastor of First Baptist Church officiated at the service. Interment at the Barbee Cemetery was under the direction of Harrell Funeral Home of Dublin.

Mrs. Elizabeth Jones and Mrs. Fannie Chambers provided a program of music and song.

Pallbearers were Dan Wilbanks, Joe Wilbanks, Lee Everitt, Chuck Flusche, Garvin Hendon, and Donnie Bramlett.

Nancy Dot Bramlett, the daughter of Roxy Samantha and Jesse McNaron, was born March 7, 1885, at Boaz, ALa. She has been a resident of Dublin since 1954.

She was married in September of 1908 to Charles Gordon Bramlett. She was preceeded in death by her husband in 1958. An infant son also preceeded her in death.

Mrs. Bramlett was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church of the Wilson Community.

Survivors include two sons, Don Bramlett, Dublin, and Dale Bramlett of Idalou; a brother, Warner McNaron or Rotan; and a sister, Irma McNaron of Alpine. Six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.
