Comments: I am from the Texas Connection with spelling Bramblitt. Elkanah Columbus was my great grandfather, Basil my grandfather, and Raymond Robert my father. I know very little about Basil, he died when my dad was just a boy. Allie Lee Bowles then married Elkanah Wade Bramblitt, Basil's brother. Her first husband was Vance Hamilton. There are family photos of Rev. E.C.Bramblitt-that's what Elkanah Columbus went by.
