Moved their family from N. Georgia to south Georgia around 1940. They had eight children born between 1923 and 1937 -- Thomas Newton, Stella Mae, Charles Edward, Jesse Junior, Grace Elizabeth, Rosa Magalene, Theron Pink (Daddy!). Virgil was the son of Reuben Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Powell and can be found living with his parents in the 1910 GA census in Oglethorpe Co, and in the 1920 Ga Census in Jackson Co.
