He first married Sarah Higgins. He had a brother Miles, sisters, Dicey and Lucy. It goes on to say he had children from both marriages.This information is from an unknown/unnamed Georgia BRAMLETT who lived in the Cumming, Forsyth area, and whose ancestor was Reuben (no dates) who came from SC. I cannot vouch for accuracy but feel it might provide some leads to check out. |

That also started me wondering about the subsequent accuacy of other historical documents. There are a large number of Bramblets (originaly congregated in the Northwest, now spread across the country) who are decended from a minister by the name of Rev. M Bramblet. He came to the NW from Missouri in the 1890's. I have not been able to trace the name any farther back. I will continue to check this site for more information. I've been touching base off and on for sometime now. Regarding - Family Reunion. The Henry Bramlett/Rebecca Burns descendants (through Austin and Celestina) have been having a reunion every 2 years now the first weekend of August; that will be occurring again in 1998 in Nashville, TN. I realize this coincides with one being planned for June, but if anyone is interested, they can contact us for more info.
