James Monroe Esquire Govenor of the Commonwealth of Virginia to all to whom these presents shall come Greetings Know Ye, that by virtue of a Land Office Treasury warrant Number one thousand six hundred and ninety issued the twenty fourth of November one thousand seven hundred and ninety five, Therein Granted by the said Commonwealth unto Reubin Bramblett A certain tract or parcel of land Containing one thousand one hundred and ninety five acres by survey bearing date the sixth day of December one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine, lying and being in the County of Bedford, on the north side of Goose Creek and on the flatt top mountain and bound as followeth to wit, beginning at a hickory on Huddlestons line on Goose Creek ........ in Humaxe's?? line .... in Brambletts line ..... crossing branches of Wolfe? Creek ...... Goose Creek ..... to the first station with its appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Reubin Bramblett and his heirs for ever, In witness whereof the said James Monroe esquire Govenor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hath herein unto set his hand and caused the lessor seal of the said Commonwealth unto be affixed at Richmond, on the third day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and one and of the Commonwealth the twenty fifth,
